View from our room

We arrived in Singapore at 7am and got the hotel shuttle (free). The hotel was very good in checking us in when we arrived instead of having to wait til 2pm. After a shower it was across the road to the Parkway mall which is huge. 250 shops selling everything you could possibly need. Food in the mall was so cheap. A Chinese meal for lunch cost $4.00 & I couldn't eat it all. It has been over 30 degrees today so spending time in an air conditioned mall is a bonus. Just looking though. An early night is required tonight.

Minimal luggage for 2

Arrived safely in Singapore after a 10 hour night flight. I dozed & Malcolm slept soundly for most of the trip. Singapore as always spotlessly clean. Now waiting on hotel shuttle. Will feel better after a shower

Ligesaver

Got to Chch to find I'd left my neck ointment at home. Can't function without it. Can't buy it anywhere. What do you do? Remembered I'd given a tube to my good friend Joy for her husband to try. It's my lucky day. Joy lives in Chch and they have still got the tube with ointment in it. Quick trip to see Joy and get the ointment. I am happy now and my neck will survive another day. THANKS Joy. You have been a lifesaver!!

What will I take

Packing is never easy. At least I have started but Malcolm has only got his suitcase out.
