Household chores

Today was our last day in London so off to the laundromat to get the clothes clean again. It only wasted an hour while I sat and watched the clothes go round first in the washer then the dryer. The total sum for this was $12. Not cheap but necessary. Went up to central London after the washing and managed to get seats for Billy Elliot. Front row in the dress circle. Normally 80 pound but on day of the show only 27 pound. The show was great. The young lad who played the main character has a great future as a dancer. He was around 12 years old. A nice meal at an Italian restaurant tonight then in to the packing again. We leave early tomorrow morning for our flight to Barcelona.

  1. Nice photo Dad - I like it a lot. Loving the blog, you are actually quite funny mum :) Spring has arrived here. 19 degrees today. At last Frankie is on the move. Needless to say the movements are small and somewhat limited but movements none the less. She has worked out she can get from her stomach to her bum by pushing backwards and transitioning through the side splits... and so her dancing career has begun.

  2. Your photo lends itself to a Caption Contest. I will have to work on it! Only one more Monday of Mahjong, so we won't be that much ahead of you, Gay. My book arrived this week from Amazon, so that should be helpful. Trish, Ingrid and me for coffee today and much chat about our travelling friends. Joc away safely and she was very excited. She had "tummy jitters" yesterday with so much to do and to think about. I would love to be a fly on the wall when you all meet up. Such fun! Enjoy.
    Regards. Pat

  3. Love the photo. Great to remind yourself of how good it is to have your own washing machine.
All good here. Enjoying the amazing spring weather. Just hope it lasts.
Work is the same as usual - urgent this, rapid that. Bet you really secretly miss it Gay.
Looking forward to hearing of your cursing adventures. Good luck finding Joc in the square in Barcelona.
