Nga Trang

This is a very beautiful seaside city. Long white sandy beaches with straight lines
Of white  beach umbrellas & deck chairs. The place was full of Europeans having a holiday. There are lovely high rise buildings in the city with many cafes and restaurants. The place is very clean!! Motor bikes are still the preferred mode of transport but it is organised chaos. Went to an embroidery factory where we saw girls doing the most exquisite work. Their finished articles were unbelievable but I didn't like their scenes. Had a trip on a rickshaw along the beach front. One person to a rickshaw. It is amazing to see literally hundreds of rickshaws traveling in mass along the roads. It made us feel better when our drivers did not have to get off to push us up an incline- think they might have turned the motor on!! Went To the white Buddha up a 'mountain' - about as high as Smith St. The weather is still hot but a bit windy which causes a bit of a roll on the boat. Everything sooo cheap!! Did a bit of shopping which was great fun as I love bartering. This photo is of an embroidered flower.
