The Huskies

once at the top of the mountain we joined our musher & 16 dogs for a 1 km ride. The sled was on wheels due to lack of snow but this did not detract from the experience. The dog team just love running and love their musher. She had complete control of the team and she would call instructions to them by name. Remarkable!, half way through the run the musher gave them a rest as ours was not their first run of the day. The dogs ranged in age from 18 months to 7 years. The older dogs lay down for a rest while the younger ones wanted to get going again
